Meet the Team
Barry has over 40 years of experience as a senior advisor to executives, business owners, and professionals for their personal compensation and benefits strategies as well as their organizational insurance needs. He provides expert counsel and advice to boards of directors, corporations, hospitals, physician groups, and not-for-profit organizations.
He is a founding partner of Morrill, Koslow & Associates and served for seven years as executive vice president of USI Executive & Professional Benefits. Previously, he was vice president and counsel for Unum.
A graduate of Northeastern University and Boston University School of Law, Barry is a member of the Massachusetts, Maine and American Bar Associations. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the prestigious Finseca (formerly the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting), and he Society of Financial Service Professionals.
He served on the Special Olympics Massachusetts Board for 16 years, serving on fund raising and governance committees and two years as Chair.
Barry served on the Board of New England Sinai Hospital for over 25 years including five years as Chair. He was founding Chair of the Hospital’s Foundation and a member of its Strategic Planning and Governance Committees.
He also served on the Finance Committee for the Schwartz Center for Compassionate Healthcare.
Barry’s interests include travel, music and playing saxophone, performing at gigs with a classic rock tribute band.
Andrew currently serves as Vice President of Strategy and General Counsel at Compass Medical, P.C., which employs over one hundred providers at six sites in southeastern Massachusetts. Prior to his current role, he served as Compass Medical’s Vice President of Operations and as its Medical Director of Urgent Care.
Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Koslow is on the emergency department staff at multiple local hospitals and has served a term as medical staff president. He is a former chair of the national Medical Legal Committee of the American College of Emergency Physicians and earned the Certified Physician Executive designation from the American Association for Physician Leadership. He is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine) and Boston College School of Law.
In addition to his work as Consultant to Secure Benefits Northeast, Andrew plays drums and bass guitar in area bands.
